Going to a stadium, going to Fukuari
"Football is a part of my life." The people who have a favorite team would say such a thing. It's just the same with JEF supporter and so do I. When I'm at home, I usually watch football games on TV. When I travel, I'm happy to see some flags, banners and signs those said supporting the town's own team. The people living there support their team like I support our Yellow team. But, only, when I am at a stadium, I'm too excited to watch the game well, specially at home stadium. Sometimes I do not enjoy it perfectly, even so, I think it's important for us to go there. I wonder why that is. If I were not supporter, I would enjoy watching football game more. But I cannot help going to Fukuari with a Yellow shirt.
JEF 0-1 Vortis
When the final whistle was blown on the pitch, I left the stadium. I was just exhausted and had headache. It's cold and rainy today.
In the 1st half, I wondered why they did not play on the counter-attack, why they did not keep up the pace. Didn't they realize that good chance? They seemed to be able to control the game but they got no scores. In the 2nd half, the opposition began to control the game. It looked like the last match at Best-Amenity stadium for JEF. Aaroy, it took him for about 3 months to come back on the pitch, replaced Kubo. Probably, it would be difficult to cope with him for Vortis, but they did well. On the contrary, JEF could not perform well. Though they managed to put the ball into the net, Vortis kept clean sheet. Final score at Fukuari, Vortis one, JEF nil.
Since Mr. Kanbe took over from Mr. Dwight as coach, JEF haven't won any games yet. Our team doesn't change the situation, it still doesn't get better. JEF players showed that they tried to get a score. They played with their full strength. But I think there is a lack of something. Do they fight against the opposition? Do they fight? Where has fever pitch gone?

"書" of the day #2 [挑戦] [Calligraphy]
"書" of the day is "挑戦". My idea of this word is not only challenging somebody to a fight but making an effort to overcome difficulties because of improving in my skills that I learn.

It keeps them busy these days.
It's been very tough for all of J2 teams for 2 weeks because they have to play 2 games in a week. It's also hard for supporters. Some of JEF supporters went to the stadiums of the opposition to support Yellows in the midweek, to the city of Mito and of Tosu. I went to K's denki stadium with my husband. It was rare for us to go to not home one on Wednesday. We, supporters, must support our team now.
In late October, it's good opportunities for JEF to regain their position to keep them in J2 table. But now, 1 draw and 3 loses, the situation became really hard for them. We need to move on immediately. This weekend, on Sunday, JEF welcome Vortis to Fukuda denshi arena.

"書" of the day #1 [入魂] [Calligraphy]
I wrote "入魂" with my brush. Now, I found the banner said "魂" on TV broadcasting a football game, Marinos vs Urawa. That character was very cool.
In the morning I went to a bookstore to buy some calligraphy texts and practiced some words with the text's help. After that I tried to write my favorite words. "書" of the day is "入魂".
Dwight has left the club.
Yesterday, in the early morning, I heard the news that Dwight exited JEF. I was very surprised to know that and I was not able to find any my comments. It was just sad.
Following JEF's 2-3 defeat by Thespa Kusatsu on last Sunday, I was at United park and looking at the parking lot because it seemed to take a lot of time to go my car out of there. And then, after a while JEF bus with players, the coach and team staff came back to United Park from Fukuari. I saw some players inside of the bus, most of them looked very exhausted. After the bus went to the back yard, JEF's coach, Mr. Dwight, appeared in front of us. About 20 supporters were there. I was so surprised at that time that now I cannot remember the situation well. Probably, he apologized for losing the game and thanked us for supporting JEF everytime. When I heard his words, I thought "I'll follow this team and him." again.
Now, he has to quit his job before the end of this season, I'm sure he's very disappointed. In the statement on the club's website, he said his thanks and to love JEF's supports very much. And he added to want us to keep supporting this team.

In a slump
I think that JEF are in a slump. They play football very well but they are just spinning their wheels. "全力UNITED" campaign is going on from the 8th of this month and all players seem to try their best. But they lost last two successive games.
Our Yellows face their difficulty now and it's hard to be promoted to J1 in this season though it's not without any opportunities to achieve our goal. Since they have only 8 games in this season, they are driven at a point of the line whether they success or not. I'm sure they are very nervous.
It's very tough and it takes a lot of time to come out of a slump. JEF don't have so much games. They need to cope with this difficulty immediately, but is it good for them like a drastic remedy?
I hope them to remember their good performances that they originally possess instead of thinking about bad ones. I believe they are really cool and good players. I think about their situation like they only cannot wear a nice suit well. I'm sure they are OK, if they even notice it. I want them to remember "we are cool". And Please attract us with their amazing performance again.

Japanese Calligraphy [Calligraphy]
I did Japanese Calligraphy that was called "Shodo" today. It's one of traditional Japanese arts, we write words with a brush and ink on a piece of Japanese paper. I learned it from 6 years old to 14 years old, so it's been a while to do it.
Last Saturday, at the 2nd anniversary United Park Festival, Shodo event was held and I took part in it with my husband. About 20 people gathered to do Shodo in a room. Hannah Tanaka, she is a Japanese calligrapher and teaches Shodo at Shiroganedai in Tokyo, was invited as an instructor for us and taught us how to write it. We were able to write our own favorite words, for example, "走る","俺達","連勝" etc. We enjoyed it so much and we had a very good time. I also enjoyed it and I remembered to take delight in Shodo while I was writing some words with a brush and ink.

"It's been a while!"
I met a good friend of mine today. She took me to a nice restaurant and we had a good lunch. After that, she invited me to her house that was very cool. She lived in a beautiful town.
We had a casual chat and she showed me pictures. Some years ago she lived in one foreign country, pictures were taken at that time. I've never been to there, so it was very interesting to me. Someday, I want to see the country with my own eyes and eat a meal in there.
I knew she liked to travel. She said that she wanted to experience various activities. "That's very good!" I thought. She looked very cool. I'll do various things. I think that it'll be rich our lives. First, I must improve my English.
