"書" of the day #10 [仁何住彼律御] [Calligraphy]
It's been a while to do calligraphy. Maybe I did the last practice on May.
Today I learned how to write 2 patterns of kanji. I practiced each 3 letters which have the same pattern on the left side. It was difficult for me to write 6 letters on a piece of paper. Every word is not the same size and the layout is not good. I'll try it again. Anyway, India ink smells good.

"書" of the day #9 [怒涛] [Calligraphy]
After writing 天地日月, I copied 怒涛 from a textbook. I was thinking to try to write this word after watching the game, Trinita v JEF. Because JEF won 6 successive games. They will play football like today's game and I hope them to beat other opponents from now on. In my opinion, it's natural. JEF will achieve their goal and they are going to play in J1 the next season as J2 champions.
Anyway, it was difficult to write this word. Expressing the meaning of the word is really difficult.

"書" of the day #7 [百花開] [Calligraphy]
I did the first calligraphy of the year. I wrote "百花開". When I do calligraphy, I use a textbook and copy the words from it. There are some models in it and I chose this word "百花開". For the first time I saw the word, I thought this was the fit word for me to write as the first calligraphy of the year because it was good to blossom for everything like cherry blossom. Now, I found out the meaning of this word on the Internet. They say, this word comes from Zen "禅". "百花開" is a part of a sentence of 百花開誰為 or 百花春至為誰開. The both meanings are almost the same. "Why do flowers come out? For people? No. They bloom simply. They are living cheerfully. They please and make us happy but they are never arrogant. They tell us that the life is wonderful." Today I knew the great word.

"書" of the day #6 [年賀状作成] [Calligraphy]
"書" of the day is "making new year's card". I'm writing with a writing brush. After I practiced writing "辰", which is the letter of Chinese Astrology of the next year, I began to write it on postcards with thin black ink. It's difficult to use watery ink on postcards. Because I bought Inkjet Paper as usual! This type of paper cannot absorb water well. Anyway, I enjoy making new year's card.

"書" of the day #5 [蘭亭序より] [Calligraphy]
"書" of the day was [蘭亭序より]. The other day I copied 6 letters from The Lantingji Xu. This is one of the most famous models to learn calligraphy. I've written it before, not everything though. When I was a junior high school student, my teacher, who held calligraphy class in my neighborhood, taught me how to write it. I find these letters unique and fabulous. It's fun to write it but very difficult for me.

"書" of the day #4 [小筆の練習] [Calligraphy]
"書" of the day was [小筆の練習]. Yesterday, I practiced to write a letter with a small writing brush. I want to write an address on the New Year's card with a writing brush, while I usually printed out both sides of them at this time of the year. However, I've really notice that it takes a very long time and it's extremely difficult to write small letters. I gradually wrote them bigger and bigger, and then, I began writing small ones.
Can I make it until the end of the year? Can I do that?

"書" of the day #3 [攻撃] [Calligraphy]
"書" of the day is "攻撃". Now, our Yellows travel to Oita and prepare the game. Though their situation is difficult for the promotion to J1, they have to do their best on the pitch. Go there with a pride, determination and running!
The match, Oita v JEF, will start at Oita Bank Dome about 1 hour later, kick-off 16:00.
"書" of the day #2 [挑戦] [Calligraphy]
"書" of the day is "挑戦". My idea of this word is not only challenging somebody to a fight but making an effort to overcome difficulties because of improving in my skills that I learn.

"書" of the day #1 [入魂] [Calligraphy]
I wrote "入魂" with my brush. Now, I found the banner said "魂" on TV broadcasting a football game, Marinos vs Urawa. That character was very cool.
In the morning I went to a bookstore to buy some calligraphy texts and practiced some words with the text's help. After that I tried to write my favorite words. "書" of the day is "入魂".
