Consulting a dentist

I went to the dentist yesterday. Actually, last week, I've already gone there, I asked the doctor to remove the tartar from my teeth and had the doctor check my teeth. Originally, I had a chipped tooth and did nothing with it because I've never been asked about that from doctors. But, this time, this doctor said to me, "You'd better to treat this one." And I went to the dentist yesterday. When he used a dental drill to my tooth, he said, "Please tell me if you feel pain." I felt a little pain and I told him with raising hand, he said, "I'll give you an anesthetic." I was very surprised but understood the situation. It's been a while to go to the dentist so I forgot there was a possibility that I might be given an anesthetic. I was afraid of it extremely but it was finished soon without pain. I heard that we don't need to be afraid of the dentists recently. That is true. However, I have one wisdom tooth, I'll ask the doctor to remove it later, not now.
