Interview with Masaki Fukai of JEF TV program(JEF魂12リターンズ)

JEF TV program is broadcast once in a month, the name is JEF魂12リターンズ. In the program, Masaki Fukai, Who is a striker of JEF, gave an interview. I might hear his real intention.
1 month ago, after the game, he said. "I think young players want to score and supporter want to watch more goals. But I endure to get a score and serve to control the game. I played my role for my team." Reading that article in JEF official HP, I was not able to understand what he said. I wondered why he said such a thing in spite of JEF's striker. But whenever I watched his performance, he always tried to score.
Watching the TV programs and hearing his voice, I may understand his feelings. He is under emotional pressure from some kind of voices. Actually, JEF have to be promoted to J1 this season. Above all, Aaroy joined this team and Aaroy and Fukai were famous in many media as "big and small" tops. And Fukai has already gotten 10 scores. He was too famous.
I'm sure he wants to concentrate games more and stay calm more because of JEF's promotion. If somebody played a good performance, many many people would want to see him. That's natural. But it bothers Fukai now. I think so. That time is the end of season, JEF succeed in belonging to the division 1 of J league.
He talked to Chiko, who was a hostess of JEF TV, "Please, leave me alone.". But I think Chiko did a good job. If he gave an interview without JEF TV, he would not talk about his true intention and I would not know about his condition.

I believe JEF are great team.

These days, JEF didn't play football like they wanted to do. I went to Gifu pref. to watch the match, FC Gifu vs JEF,. In the 1st half they were not control the game well. Though I was worried about their performance, JEF managed to beat Gifu 2-0. The next match, Consadole Sapporo vs JEF, they were losers with a surprising result 0-4. What happened to JEF?
I'm sure this was a big shock for JEF players. But things just happen sometimes. I hope them not to lose their confidence. I know they are cool players. The day will come that they perform a good play and attract us on the pitch again.

Going after my dream

Naoki's funeral ceremony was held yesterday. About 1,800 people attended. I saw it on TV.
I'm neither Marinos supporter nor Matsumoto Yamaga supporter, but I knew him as a great player. last December he said in his farewell speech at Yokohama stadium, "I seriously love football so much. I want to play football more.". And then he transferred to Matsumoto Yamaga which were team belonging the third-highest football league in Japan. Speaking of Matsumoto city or Nagano prefecture, I always remembered him. He was one of players to make Japanese football better and went after his dream that was, "I want to play football.".
Don't lose my way. Don't forget my dream. I mustn't waste time. I'll go after my dream. I learned the greatest thing from him.

Naoki Matsuda 松田直樹選手

The saddest news came as a great shock to me. I still can't believe that Matsuda died. I wished to see him on the pitch more and more. Yesterday, my husband bought Elgolazo and came home. There was Matsuda smiling to us in the top page. I saw it and cried. It was too sad to read that article about Matsuda.
I knew him as a wonderful player. Whenever I saw him in some games of J-league, I thought he was one of the biggest players and threatened JEF as a good opponent when JEF played with his team. He was a member of Yokohama-F-Marinos for 16 years until last season and also played as a Japanese International capping 40 times. This season he transferred to Matsumoto-Yamaga which were football team in Matsumoto city belonging to Japan Football League(JFL). It was very good for Japanese football that big players like him join a team in JFL. With their play, not only J-league but also the third-highest division become active.

Last week, I went to Nagano Prefecture with my husband. And we stopped at Matsumoto city to eat lunch. Then we remembered Matsumoto-Yamaga. We also remembered Matsuda and talked about him, "We hope him to play more and more! We believe his team to be better." This story was talked just 7 days ago. I really can't believe.
